The Ennedi Massif
Capital of Ennedi-Ouest and the launching point for every exploration of the massif.
Fada is the administrative centre of Ennedi-Ouest and the last place with fuel, a phone network and an airstrip. The town grew around an oasis and a crossroads of caravan tracks linking the Borkou to the Ouaddaï and Sudan.
For travellers, Fada is the airlock: it is where supplies are topped up, permits stamped, and where you leave the connected world for several days.

Our journeys

Fifteen days on the track linking Chad's two World Heritage sites, out by the northern route and back through the Ouaddaï.

Eight days in the heart of the massif, flying in to Fada so that all the time goes to the ground.

Eighteen days crossing the country north to south: the desert, then the savannah and its elephants.
